The Olivia project leverages the Philips Pregnancy + app, with over 450 million users worldwide, to provide relevant information to expectant mothers and their partners based on their location and stage in their pregnancy. For nearly a decade, Philips and Texas A&M University have worked together successfully on numerous projects.
THE GOAL:
Design a platform of multimedia pregnancy resources that is easily navigable, inclusive, and user friendly.
THE CHALLENGE:
Designing a user-centric platform that accommodates diverse resources for information on pregnancy and childbirth, and that is inclusive to any user seeking support. Olivia Health’s mission begins with inclusivity, and the site design not only caters to expecting mothers, but extends usability to partners, fathers, and family members.
THREE KEY CHALLENGES: User Engagement, Inclusivity, Information density
Single Click Methodology
Keeping users on the site and making information accessible by immediately showing relevant information to users in just one click.
Landing Page
Users can immediately view the resources Olivia Health provides.
Ollie AI Chat
The embedded AI chat box allows users to be precise in their search.
Home Page Design
By creating a longer scrollable home page, users can scroll through and see a condensed version of everything Olivia Health has to offer.
After seeing a short description of who we are, users can see up to nine recently uploaded videos and infographics. When users scroll and see something they are interested in, in one click, they can see the content they are interested in.
